Spearheading the Week, Franti but not frantic

I am multi-media-multi-tasking at the moment. I am writing this blog entry, following Pat Rabbitte's Q and A on the Irish Times website and downloading music from eMusic. I am also trying to listen to Michael Franti and Spearhead's album Yell Fire! album which is ROCKING MA SOUL.

Christ, he's got the sexiest voice on the planet.

And I am coughing a lot.

Me is sick....ehe, ehe, ehe...coughy, achey, painey, listlessly sick. No raging fever that prevent me from multi-media-multi-tasking or feeling guilty about being sick.

But sick nonetheless.

Yesterday I woke up and listened to my body and it said: go find a nice doctor, tell him what's going on with all of us, and tell him to get me into a state where I stop slowing you down all the time because I feel crap.

NOW.

I DON'T CARE WHAT'S GOING ON IN WORK/LIFE/BALANCE/ WHATEVER.

Cry at him if you have to.

So I did.

I cry at the drop of a hat these days anyway.

And since then body has decided to pack it all in for a week.

Poor body..... I guess keeping it all completely together for two years straight just proved too much for this one.

I am very proud of it though. So now I am going to listen to it and stay home for a bit and give it a rest.

Michael is telling me that From the East to the West... whole wide world keeps turning around.
I'm sure it will while I disembark for a quick stop.

I hope you and your body get a break, and time for a full recovery.

And a pony.
