So I will start with the fact that Mike and Kate, my neighbours, are currently outside showing off their brand new compact Japanese something or other, having divested themselves of their lovely old crappy boat of a Volvo station wagon.
And I am too invested for my own liking.
I liked that old Volvo. It kind of said things to me about them. Having said that, the new car is much more energy efficient and safe. But it doesn't have the character of the Volvo.
Never mind. I'm sure they're the same people inside.
I am trying to think the same about Ireland right now.
Not working so good.
