Breakfast Roll Man abandons the Soldiers of Destiny... the muesli parties are on the rise

I despair of my countrymen.... frigging despair...

This is splashed across all the papers this morning:

"An opinion poll conducted by Millward Brown IMS for today’s Irish Independent shows Fine Gael on 30 per cent (up three points since the last election), Fianna Fáil 25 per cent (down 17 points), Labour on 22 per cent (up 12 points)...."

"According to the poll, Fianna Fail would lose anything up to 30 Dail seats if an election was called today. The findings are stark: just over one-in-five voters think their leader is doing a good job; one-in-10 are satisfied with the Government.

The plight of the 'Breakfast Roll Man' -- the group of newly prosperous Celtic Tiger cubs credited with sealing the last election for Fianna Fail -- appears to have mirrored the party's recent misfortunes. The most marked drop in support has been among young professionals in the 25-34 and 35-49 age categories, who are abandoning the party in their droves."

The corruption, the cronyism, and the pathetic inability to look after the sick, the vulnerable and the less well to do in our society was okay while you had a job and could borrow on your property portfolio's value, was it?

But now you're not doing so well, it's time to get rid of Fianna Fail.

RATS..... LEAVING THE SHIP.... SHOULDN'T BE ALLOWED... GRUMBLE GRUMBLE GRUMBLE....

I hear you. But don't we want Fianna Fail to lose the election?
