I tried to talk about this recently but I was too tired to make any sense.
Because Himself and I are both on gmail and Facebook and share a computer, there's a certain amount of typing in of passwords and user names that goes on when we change over from Kijiji stalking to blogging of an evening.
So regularly I have to go through the Blogger home page or whatever it is.
And it annoys me.
For a number of reasons.
It's a workaday page, so it's really clunky and difficult to get around.
There are posts which are generally too erudite for me to understand about meta stuff etc.
And then, recently, there was a post about some guy called Eric, who left.
And the whole thing was tagged.
And it turned out it was a puff piece for him, his mates, and his new job.
WHICH IS FINE.
I'm all for previous employers giving the good ship entrepreneurship a big push off the wharf.
It's the least they can do for you after you worked your nads off for them for five years.
But why did they make him sound like such a loser?
And why was the photo all about the chick with the hoodie? And not Eric?
I think I may have tracked her down.
Her name is ELLETM (I can't make the TM go up where it should be, because I can't write code).
Why is there a woman called Elle trade marking her name?
ARE YOU STOOPID?
THAT'S NOT COOL.
THAT'S STOOPID.
Okay, I'm going to stop bitching about the landlord now.
Nice Google..... nice...
