Settling down to it

After a couple of weeks, we are starting to feel settled into our new home, and maybe even I will be able to sit still long enough to blog - I have a list of forty books to review if nothing else - but right now, after foostering around with the title for an hour this morning, I really should go outside and refill the bird feeder and chip some more ice from the driveway and get some fresh air.

So far... chickadees, jays, sparrows, pheasants, rabbits, and a big old ginger tom cat that visits us from next door every day. We saw four deer foraging in a group when we walked the trail behind our house last weekend.

No sign of any human neighbours yet...

Maybe when the ice recedes...
