So some poor pretty Irish girl who wanted to be a celebrity so much she became one of those famous for being famous people took too much cocaine and died.
Along with the other two people who took too much cocaine at a twenty first party in Waterford a few weeks back, and died this week.
And apparently some actor called Tom Murphy earlier this year (I hope it's not the Tom Murphy I know), who died of an overdose.
Not to mention all the non-famous for dying of cocaine overdosing people who will die this year.
Shouldn't we be talking about who sold them the frickin' cocaine, instead of wondering what it all means for the dying embers of the tiger?
Mr. Newspaperman?

Probably was the Tom Murphy you know, if you're thinking of the TCD drama student from our period in Trinity. He was in Sam's class and a good friend of hers in first year.
Yours is the first mention of his death being cocaine-related, though I suppose unhappily it wouldn't be surprising in the general run of things.
I heard it was cancer?
I would put money on the spate of cocaine deaths in the past few weeks having something to do with the stuff that washed up in Cork.
Tom Murphy was reported to have died of lymphatic cancer.

my general position on the drøgs remains that if there were no buyers, there would be no sellers.
