That's what I did in work today.
Gosh, Queenie's job is so laid back and interesting, I hear you all say.
I wisht.
Electricity generation Fuel Adjustment Mechanisms. That involve Fuel Adjustment Factors. Which is where the faffing part comes in.
With some consultants from Kentucky. One of whom sounded just like Jim Rockford from the Rockford Files.
And a load of lawyers in black suits. And some environmentalists. Who were the people not wearing the suits.
For five hours.
Environmentalists don't get to bill for the hours they spend at these sessions.
And neither does Queenie.
Sigh.
Anyways, off to Cape Breton tomorrow for a little spin around the offshore industry.
I always wanted to drive from the top of Cape Breton back to Halifax via Stellarton at one in the morning in February.
The last time I did this trip with this driver we nearly died and I got the worst flu of my life.
So those of you who believe in that kind of stuff, pray for me.
And those of you who know with whom I am travelling, stop laughing.
See you all Saturday!
Maybe...
