Photos accepted for publication

Four months ago, Queenie sent in a few snaps to the Daily News, which is publishing a book called Lost in Nova Scotia. To her amazement and delight, they have accepted two and so she is to be published.

It'd never happen at home. Not because home is bad. Because Queenie would never have submitted them at home.

One of them is Balancing Rock on a Foggy Day, which I posted to the blog a few months back. The other one is Cliffs at Cape John, which is above.

As Jersey Girl would say, I am psyched.

That's great! The balancing rock is particularly arresting.

Though, were you actually lost in NS at the time you took the photos? If not, is that false advertising?

Congratulations, however, I hope you read the agreement they wanted you to sign. It gives them all rights to the photos and it would even be copyright infringement for you to display them on the internet! I declined to sign.

Of course I read it. I just intend to ignore it. They're my photos. And I've just publicised their book.

Also, I'm not a Canadian citizen so that nullifies it.
