STORY Our (Percy + Queenie's) second-favourite feisty, pen-wielding redhead (our favourite being Trish Byrne of course) has announced her retirement from the liberal media elite due to her sudden realisation that the right-wing, conservative media elite have been coining it as 'meeja consultants' for the Bush-led Government they have supported and maintained in power, despite the lunacy of the Iraq war.
REACTION
Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo, Maureen!
Don't resign.
Firstly, it is easier for a camel to get through the eye of a needle and all that. So they're all going to hell.
Secondly, the whole point of being in the liberal media elite is that overwhelming feeling of smug superiority you get from not selling your liberal soul for filthy lucre. Money cannot buy smug superiority.
The fact that it comes free with money is irrelevant then, Queenie? - Percy
Thirdly, liberals get more sex. Well they do in Ireland anyways.
Well, they did when I was in the liberal media elite loop.
And then I resigned, and look what happened to me - Queenie
Let's not go there today - Percy

Apologies first - for what is to follow
Welcome to our (Percy + Queenie's) new blog.
We apologise in advance if we offend anyone. In our defense:
"We do not grow absolutely, chronologically. We grow sometimes in one dimension, and not in another; unevenly. We grow partially. We are mature in one realm, childish in another. The past, present and future mingle and pull us backward, forward, or fix us in the present. We are made up of layers, cells, constellations."
Anais Nin
A sarcastic, vain, opinionated, authority-hating, nicotine-addicted, "St. Emilion with her cheese" loving surrender monkey - Queenie.
Not like you at all then - Percy.
